Unfortunately, the future of education accordingly to Jewish principles seems to be taking two sharp directions.
Yeshiva education will probably return to the traditional cheder methods in the future and that is positive.
Except for the education for the strictly observant Jews, the rest of the educational system does not seem to be quite as positive.
The trend is away from Jewish methods and towards modern methods based upon modern research. That does not take into account Jewish issues.
As a result it may be said that Jewish education is actually being split and it is going in two directions depending on whether we are dealing with the strictly observant or the less observant community.
