It was thus necessary to re-think, review and modify the very concept of the classification systems, since they ultimately controlled the placement of the books. If they could be modified successfully, then the floor space could be maximized.
The problem was indeed resolved by using original and unorthodox means. The resulting storage options offered flexibility, accessibility, and potential for physical growth.
