Look around you and you will see various people who are aged.

There is a difference between being aged and being old. Somebody who is aged is not necessarily old, is not necessarily over a certain age but it looks like they feel aged and they walk around with this droopy sometimes even sad, weary look as if they have all of the burdens of the world or have had all of the burdens of the world on their shoulders. They have suffered a lot and experienced a lot and now they've reached the point in their life which might even be at a reasonably early age where things are too much for them or too hard for them and they find it difficult for them and they find it hard to accept it and to live with these difficulties that they face.

They might ask people for help. They might have trouble climbing stairs or even getting onto the bus or off the bus. They may walk around with a cane although they do not have anything physically wrong with them. They might look at people and ask them to give them a chair or a seat even though they really don't have to.

These are the people who are aged.

You can be aged at any age.

It's a way of life. It's a way of thinking. It's a way of feeling. It's a way of acting. It's a way of responding to issues, but it is not necessarily a function of the number of years that you have spent on the planet.

Some of these people like the idea of being aged. It offers them the opportunity of getting some tsumi and they want and need that tsumi. Others just have experienced a great deal, more perhaps than they deserve and the concept of being aged has befallen them even though they may not necessarily deserve this.
