The equivocal personality is one of the most difficult to deal with.
Just as a bipolar affliction is as difficult becuase you may never know where the person stands at a given time, and equivocal personality is cagey whether intentionally or unintentionally.
One day the equivocal personality can have one point of view of feeling and can be positive or negative and the next day the equivocal personality can reverse it. This makes a problem because at any given time you would not know how to treat the specific issue.
Indeed, any issue can be handled much more easily if you know what you are dealing with. When the issue changes over and over again, when there are constant flip-flops from one mood or one way of acting to another then you do face a serious problem. That's the situation with an equivocal personality. The equivocal personality has a voice VOC which can be one way or the other way, each one is equal in strength, that's the EQUI part and together we have equal voices pulling in both directions, and the poor counselor has to then decide how to deal with these two voices that come about at the same time.
