Chocolate dipped fruit & nuts

Melt some chocolate.
Dip the fruit (or nuts) in chocolate
Leave to dry on greaseproof paper.
Eat!

(makes a good gift as long as it's given within a day or so of being made)

Fresh fruit salad
Offer a selection of fruits so the girls can pick and choose the ones they like, or get each girl to bring one or two portions of fruit.
My favourite fruit salad is really easy to make: take 1 small tin of pineapple (in juice, not syrup) and another small tin of mandarin pieces, put the entire contents in a bowl & mix.  Core and chop 2 apples (one red, one green), add them to the bowl, stir.  In an air-tight container this will keep for about 5 days.
