Gundam Wing Operation 1

What left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that this was all background music. Don't get my wrong, background music from anime is actually what I *prefer* than the actual songs, but this isn't your Yoko Kanno BGM. Gundam BGM seems to lack the style, quality and well effort that is put in grand productions such as Gainax's Evangelion.

Maybe Iam just forgetting that it's Gundam and that it's a robot show with a tight budget. So to be fair. The BGM is good, but I get this feeling that it was done in a rush by a producer or done by a computer. (Iam leaning towards the latter.) ^_^;

But it BGM is YOUR style than your in for a treat! You'll more than get your fix with 30+ plus tracks of BGM but you also get this niffy BGM-only of Just Communication the first theme song to Gundam Wing.

For all you new fans from Cartoon Network they play this verison at the ending credits of each episode. But your more than missing out with the two-mix-vocal version of "Just Communication".

I worship the fast techo like beat that Two-Mix provides for Gundam Wing's themes. It's what makes this anime a winnner, so much like with the Slayers and how all their theme songs are drop-dead *wonderful* thanks to the talents of Megumi-SAMA.

"Just Communication" isn't the only vocal song on the cd, you also get "relena's-fun-day-with-the-animals" song a.k.a "Just Love" which is JUST SILLY.

So if BGM isn't your style say clear of this one, but I feel the CD is worth owning just for the fuller-longer verison of "Just Communication" since the verison you get in Operation 2 is well... Ugly. *lol* And some people out there do enjoy Relena's frolic fun with that Rhino.

Getting this CD is your choice. I bought this CD 3 years ago first only because "I didn't want to get the CD with Relena on the cover." and well. That was a mistake.

Cheers!
