The Gunners lead the soccer match 4-1 until the end of the game when a defensive lapse allow the Gold to score two quick goals. The offensive scoring was lead by David with two goals. Stargil and Andrew also scored.The final score was 4-3.
The Gunners played extremely well against the Force on Friday, April 4, 2003, until the last 7 minutes. At the beginning of the match the Gunners looked like a new team. We ran out of gas at the end and allowed the Fayetteville team to score 3 fairly quick goals. Dustin scored the lone goal for the LRSA Gunners.
The Gunners fought hard but only managed a 1-1 tie against Triangle FC on March 22, 2003 The lone goal for the Gunners was scored by Chase on an assist by Cameron. Jake, as Keeper, again help save the day by knocking out several Triangle shots.
The LRSA 90 Gunners soccer team lost to the Winston Salem Twins White Saturday, March 8, 2003, by the score of 0-2. The Gunners soccer team also lost on Sunday, March 9, to Greensboro SC Gold by the score of 1-2. The Gunners's lone score came on a goal by Dustin and an assist by David.
The LRSA 90 Gunners soccer team lost to the Fayetteville Force on Saturday, March 1, by the score of 0-3. The Gunners did not play well and could not seem to get any offense going. Jake started the match as keeper and recorded many saves. Zach replaced him during the 2nd half and played well for his first time as keeper on the Gunners soccer team.
The LRSA 90 Gunners tied the first game of the spring soccer season with Triangle FC Navy 2-2. The Gunners' goals were scored by David and Jakariy. Jakariy also recorded an assist. Jake played his normal excellent game as keeper.
