El Centro Gurdwara fue establecido en 1948.
Los japoneses derrotados en  la Segunda Guerra Mundial
decidían venderel templo japonés anterior.
La comunidad del sikh lo compró para cerca de $18.000 y convirtió al Gurdwara existente.
