While I was there I was finally able to meet Uncle Gus, Nia's dad! It was good to see Auntie Miriam again and meet more of Nia's relatives. I think by the time I finish my stint here in Pittsburgh I will have met many more of Nia's family. I met some of them when I went with her to Toronto for Caribbana weekend a year back.
Anyhoo--we had a marvelous time and I'm glad I went! I got to see a bit of where Nia's been camping out these past few years, meet friends and family and I DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE! All in all, a good weekend. Thanks Nia!
