| I've probably driven right by this sign thirty or forty times. It is well hidden. And with construction on the way, may it remain so. Few of these traingular county highway markers still exist on the roadside. Situated right next to a telephone pole, the Tuscaloosa Co. 47 sign is difficult to notice. The surrounding landscape -- Bridge Avenue approaching Martin Luther King to the left and then Park to the right -- is superbusy. Here, business and commerce meet residential and church interests; city streets, former throughways and current multiplexes intersect at odd angles. |
