| Digital capture from the late summer of 2002 along the unstriped Western Bypass. The route was open only to local traffic in the western Northport and Flatwoods area. |
| Currently, this section of the Bypass -- from US 82 to AL 171 -- is open, although not signed completely. The lanes have been striped and an underpass, taking the Bypass beyond 171, is being constructed. Traffic on 171 has to be detoured, in fact, along stretches of the Bypass system, which is signed as an extension of the pre-existing Mitt Lary Road. |
