The Talking Room

In each silent club, there is a "talking room" where members (and visitors) are allowed escape for a few moments in the world of sound. Background music is changed thrice-weekly. Requests may be forwarded to the Oldest Member (h_glossop@yahoo.com). Conversation is now possible at the Thackeray Club. A Yahoo Group has been established under the name, "The Thackeray Club", and all silence-enthusiasts are encouraged to join.
