My mother told me that this would go away, but it didn't!

God said that "I am"!

During the summer between my freshman and sophmore years in high school (1961), I invited Jesus Christ into my life to be my Savior and Lord.      I will never forget my sweet mothers response that night when I got home.  I said totally out of the blue, that I had invited Christ into my life.  Her unguarded comment was that I should go to bed as it was late and it would go away in time.      Well it is over 40 years later, and I am here to tell you that it has not gone away!  See the Scripture that God used to bring me to Himself over on the right hand side of this text.

The Scriptures make certain claims that Jesus Christ stated while He was here on the face of the earth.      He said that "He was the Son of God."      Now that statement is either True or False.  It is not a little true and a little false.      If it is false than that is the end of it.      However, if it is true, than Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has come to redeem man, (Me and you).

With the statements that Jesus Christ made, you could say one of three things about Him.      He said that "He was the Son of God."      That means that one of three things could be said about Him.      He was a LIAR!      He was a LUNATIC!      He was the LORD!

Jesus Christ was either a LIAR LUNATIC or the LORD!

The Jews knew what Jesus Christ was claiming, when He said that He was the Son of God. That is either TURE or FALSE. I beleive that it is TRUE, the Jews tried to stone Him. What do you believer?

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

I Corinthians 15:3b - 4 "... that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, ..."
