Earth and the American Dream (HBO 1993)
This cautionary HBO film looks at the history of the United States from
the earths point of view. The process which changed a wilderness into
todays environmental disaster is described through the words of writers,
politicians, businessmen an d ordinary citizens - and images of a country
being scarred by 500 years of deforestation, wildlife destruction, soil
