FUTURE PROSPECTS                                                           

Following are the Accounting and Finance related fields

Students can start their Chartered Accountancy Program after Intermediate by passing the Pre-entry Proficiency test (PPT ) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan(First class intermediate and graduates are exempted).They will have to undergo a Module Foundation Course (MFC) of 24 months which comprises of 4 semesters.However,if they start the CA. foundation after graduation, they will not be forced to take the 24 month classes and will simply register as Prospective Foundation Candidate (PFC).They will have to pass the four modules of MFC in order to join a Chartered Accountancy firm for four years practical training(or join the firm after first two modules and clear other two later.

Students can also start  Chartered Accountant Technician course (CAT) using their matriculation or intermediate certificate.Or in case of Bachelors degree or age 21 ,they can start Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants Course (ACCA)-UK.

CA. foundation passed candidates are exempted from first stage of ACCA course.

After intermediate, students can start their Pakistan Institute Of Public Finance Accountants-PIPFA (formerly known as AAT) course.Which is also a prestigious degree in Accountancy and holders of this degree are exempted from CA-foundation 1 and the degree is also recognized by Auditor General of Pakistan(however it is an introductory certificate).

Graduates can register with Institute of Cost and Management Accountants ( ICMA )  and can start ACMA course.First class graduates ( and 2nd class B.com passed candidates) are exempted from entry test.
