My name is Hal. I am now on the road and beginning my (camping) odyssey to expand my vision, find my writing voice, connect with nature, settle some personal/spiritual questions, see old friends around the country, and meet new friends everywhere I go. I have set no time limit on my travels. I only know (and I don't know how I know) that this is the time for me to deal with these matters.
This Homepage will keep anyone who is interested up to date about my travels through my writing as well as through pictures that I will be uploading every week or two (or more often if my old and new friends offer me internet access).

Currently, I plan to leave on September 28th and travel to the Emerald Lake State Park in North Dorset, VT where I will camp for a couple of days and enjoy the foliage, hiking and kayaking. Don't know where to from there. I will let you know as soon as I know.
