Mountain Kitties' Halloween Adventure

 

Chapter 1 

It was a dark and stormy night...

Way up high in a tiny little town  in the mountains, two little cats named Annie and Lizzie were  prowling around their house.  It was Halloween.

Annie and Lizzie could not understand how their Mommy and Daddy could sleep on such an exciting night.  There were strange noises and smells coming from the outside.  Annie and Lizzie are not allowed to go outdoors by themselves, and  they never minded that before.  But, tonight, the urge to explore was just too tempting...

 

 

 

 

 
The little kitties were bored.

 

 

 
Annie is very persuasive!  "Look, Lizzie!" If I wear this bunny mask, nobody will know it's me!  If you won't put on a costume and come with me, I'm going out by myself!"

    

 

 

Lizzie certainly didn't want Annie to go outdoors by herself!  "OK, Annie, I'll put on a costume,  but I know I'm going to regret this the rest of my life!"
