SECURITY:
BIBLE
STUDY:
In order to properly understand the word
of God,there
are a good number of conditions that must be met.The
following is seven of perhaps the most
important.
CONDITION ONE:
1.That a person must be saved by Grace, and be led
by
the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2/14
14.But the natural man receiveth not the things of
the spirit of God:for they are foolishness unto
him:Neither can he know them, because they are
spirtually discerned.
CONDITION TWO:
One must believe and know that the word of God was
before this world, and will be after this world has
passed away---unchanged.
John 1/1 & 2
1.In the beginning was the word, and the word was
with God,and the word was God.
2.The same was in the beginning with God.
CONDITION THREE:
One must believe and know that the Bible is truly the
inspired word and will of Almighty God.
11 Timothy 3/16 & 17
16.All scripture is given by inspiration,of God is
profitable for doctrine,for reproof,for correction,
for instruction in righteousness,
17.That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
CONDITION FOUR:
That one must believe and know that the Bible is true
in ever respect, and means just what it says.
Nothing More---Nothing less.
Of course we all know that the Bible is true, and in
fact the word and will of God,However it seems that
some people always has to add or remove one or more
of the following words:Ands--Ifs--or--Buts.
If we add or remove any word we have changed the word
and the will of God Himself.
CONDITION FIVE:
That one must forget what Father,Mother,Sisters
Brother,Aunts,Uncles,and yes Brothers,and sisters in
Christ, or anyone might say,Just what the Bible has
to say.
Condition five is perhaps the hardest to comply
with, because of being raised in different
denominations and doctrines,But if we are to really
understand what God has to say to us we must leave
these thing out of our studies.and keep an open mind.
John 1/1
1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with
God,And the word was God.
CONDITION SIX:
To use theory only when the subject is not clearly
covered in the Bible:even in that case from related
subject only.
Now condition six is perhaps the most misused,so
often we hear verses that are so far out of context
it does not concern the subject at in no way.
Of course there are subject that are not clearly
covered in the Bible, and thus we must go to theory,
but even in that case from related subjects only.
11 Timothy 2/15
15.Study to shew thyself approved unto God,a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth.
CONDITION SEVEN:
Always keep in mind that customs of the past or the
present has no place in the study of the Bible.
Now I suppose that all of us at one time or another
tried to oover come the custom problem, from a child
I raised to believe this, that or the other, and most
of those things might be alright, however some of
these things just miight not be according to the
teachings of the Bible,So we sould seek the truths of
the Bible, and never be misled by the customs of the
day;passed nor present.
Proverbs 14/12
12.There is a way that seemeth right unto men,but the
end thereof are the ways of death.
How often when talking to peole on this subject have
you heard some of the following: perphaps all of
them.
1.My goodness I was raised in a christian home,my
father and mother taught me this, that or the other.
2.Some even believe they have a right to believe
what they feel is right.
3.This is what all my friends, and about everyone
believes.
4.My church denomination teachs and believes.
However sincere they may be saying these things,
believing them is just not the answer.
The truth of the matter is that we do not have the
right to believe as we please, nor to except what
anyone else may say:
JUST WHAT THE BIBLE HAS TO
SAY:
NOTHING MORE---NOTHING LESS;

THE
VEIL:
In most every subject that we read about, study or
talk about, there are a part or so that is very
seldom discursed at any length, The word Veil,is one
of those words that seems to be one of subjects that
is not often talked about, when we think about Jesus
and His crufcified,However there is reason for great
joy and thanksgiving in the truths of the Veil.
And since we will be discurssing this word it would
be good to really know the meaning of the word Veil:
VEIL:
1.A deceptive outward
appearance.
2.The material in which something is wrapped.
3.To prevent (something) from being known'
4.To surround and cover completely so as to
absure.
The Veil that we will be thinking about is the Veil
in the temple which closed the fourth wall of a room
of the temple.Behind that Veil was the most Holy
Place,Yes this Holy Place was so Holy that only the
High Priest and him alone went behind and even then
just once a year, and that was to sprinkle blood on
the mercy seat for the sins of his people.
No persons but the high priest could go behind the
veil and live. And that was just once a year.Yes
behind this veil was were the Lord dwelled.Man's sin
was so great that God could not permit man to come in
to His presents,Thus only the high priest was
permitted into that Holy of Holy place, and that was
after he had been prepare to do so.
Then God sent Jesus into the world to create a better
way for man to come to God cleansed of his sins.Yes
God's new plan was that it was better to show God's
Holiness by revealing Himself, rather than hiding Him-
self behind the Veil.
Matthew 27/22 thur 26
22.Pilate saith unto them, what shall I do then with
Jesus which is called Christ?,They all say unto him,
let Him be crucified.
23.And the governor said, why, what evil hath He done?
But they cried out the more, saying,Let Him be
crucified.
24.When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but
that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and
washed his hands before the multitude, saying,I am
innocent of the blood of this person:see to it.
25.Then answered all the people, and said,His blood be
on us, and on our children.
26.Then released he barabbas unto them:and when he
had scourged Jesus,he delivered Him to be crucified.
Matthew 27/46 thru 54
46.And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud
voice, saying,E'-li,E,li.La-ma
Sa-bach,-tha-ni?,that
is to say,My God,My God,Why hast thou forsaken
Me?
47.Some of them that stood there, when they heard
that, said, This Man calleth for E-li'-as.
48.And straightway one of them ran,and took a spunge,
and filled it with vinegar.and put it on a reed, and
gave Him to drink.
49.The rest said,let be,let us see rather E-li,- as
will come to save Him.
50.Jesus,when He had cried again with a loud voice,
yielded up the ghost.
51.And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in
twain from the top to the bottom;and the earth did
quake,and the rocks rent;
52.And the graves were opened; and many bodies of
saints which slept arose.
53.And came out of the graves after His resurrection
and went into the Holy City, and appeared unto many.
54.Now when the centurion, and they that were with
him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those
things that were done,they feared
greatly, saying,Truly this was the son of God.
At that time which was about 3:00 PM about mid
afternoon many things start happening:
1.The veil in the temple was
rent in twain from
the top to the bottom.
2.And the earth did quake.
3.Then the rocks rent.
4.And graves were opened.
5.Many saints which slept arose.
6.And there was darkness for three hours in
mid afternoon.
It is very easy to imagine just how much fear really
filled the hearts of all that were gathered there
when the earth quake rumbled through the country side
or the rocks that they were standing on started to
split or fall apart, just think about someone who
lives in a rock house.
Then I am not quite sure just what I would do or
think if the graves started to opening.I hate to
think just what I might do or try to do if the saints
or anyone else that were dead started to rise. And
then when darkness fell upon the whole country side,I
am still not so sure of the things I would do or try
to do.
Now there is the veil that was rent from the top.that
within itself was an act of God Himself,Only God
could
have rent it from the top down.Of course man would
have rent it from the bottom up,And that within
itself
would be quite a big task.
It has been said that the dimensions were sixty feet
long,thirty feet wide,and about four inches thick.and
it hung in folds and was so heavy that it took over a
hundred priests to move it.Jewish authortities have
declare that two pair of oxen hitched to both end of
it pulling in opposite directions could not tear it
apart.
The renting of the veil happened about three in the
in the afternoon. That was the time of the evening
sacrifies, and is thought it possible that some of the
priests were there and saw it happen.
11 Corinthians 3/9 thru
18
9. For if the ministration of condemnation by glory,
much more doth the ministration of righteousness
exceed in glory.
10.For even that which was made glorious had no glory
in this respect,by reason of the glory that
excelleth.
11.For if that which is done away was glorious, much
more that which remaineth is glorious.
12.Seeing then that we have such hope,we use great
plainness of speech:
13.And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face,
that the children of Isael could not steadfastly look
to the end of that which is abolished:
14.But their minds were blinded:for until this day
remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading
of the Old Testament;which veil is done away in
Christ.
15.But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the
veil is upon their hearts.
16.Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the
veil shall be taken away..
17.Now the Lord is that Spirit:and where the Spirit
of the Lord is,There is liberty.
18.But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image
from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the
Lord.
In verses nine and ten we find that, the first was
glorious,(The Veil) But the second was much more
glorious,
Now just a few of the things
that
was changed when
the veil was rent or torn.
1.The work of the earthly priest was finished,In
that
there would be no need for the priest to make the
daily,weekly,monthly or yearly sacrifices,
2.The priest would no longer need to enter behind the
Veil and make atonment for our sin. When the veil was
torn it open the way for all to come,(through Christ)
3.Yes the opening of the Veil was the termination of
earthly priest,God has provided another Priest. This
great High Piest, who made just one sacrifice for sin
both for now and for ever. This within itself declared
the work of the earthly priests finished.
4.Then we find that the sacrificial sin offerinng had
ended,God had provided a New and better way of mercy
for all mankind.
5.Upon the renting of the temple Veil, declared the
way to the Holy One now open to all mankind.Yes the
earlier way where the priests alone could go into
the most Holy Place had come to an end.And under the
new,all men can enter through Jesus Christ (The Most
High Priest)
6.The message of the Veil, because it tells a powerful
truth,It tells us of the Holiness of good, and of a
Great New High Priest that has invited all mankind to
come, and salvation to all who believe.
Hebrews 5/9
9.And being made perfect,He became the author of
eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.
Hebrews 8/12
12.For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness
and their sin and their iniquities will I remember no
more.
John 14/6
6.Jesus saith unto him,I am the
way,the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the
Father,but by Me.
YES JESUS CHRIST IS THE NEW GREAT
HIGHT PRIEST.

ETERNAL
SECURITY:
(everlasting)
Now this is a very-very controversial subject: so
much so that a great many Pastors and Teachers
refrain from teaching or preaching on this subject.
With no doctrine to uphold ot defend,I will bring the
teachings of the Authorized King James Version of the
Holy Bible to light.setting all other teachings, such
as,believes and theories aside: just what the bible
has to say
I will use the King James version only throughtout
this article. The King James version is the one I was
raised with and the one I love and trust.
Being a New Testament Christian I will use the New
Testament most of the time,However I always use at
least one or more verses from the Old Testament,Just
to prove that it teaches the same as the New
Testament.
There are many-many places in the Old Testament that
I could use,However permit me to use just a Small
part of David's life,This verse is without question
in context.
As we all know David had committed manny-many sins,
murder, adultery and a lot more.So let us use Psalm
51/9 thru 12 (however it would be good if we would
read the complete Psalm.I will list the three verses
listed above.
Psalm 51/9 thru 12
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine
iniquities.
10.Create in me a clean heart,O God;and a renew a
right spirit within me
11.Cast me not away from thy presence;and take not
thy Holy Spirit from Me.
12.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and
uphold me with thy free Spirit,
I suppose that most christians know that the 51st.
Psalm is part of David's prayer for the remission of
all those sins of his past.I also think it would be
good to remember that David was a redeemed child of
God before he committed all those sins.
Now suppose we take a quick look at what David really
said in the above verses.
Psalm 51/9a
Hide Thy face
from my sins;here he admittes to his sins.9b Here he
knows that he himself can do nothing within
himself,so he ask God to blot them out.
11a.Cast me not away from thy presences:
In 11a David ask not to be cast out of God's presence
in other word we find that David was still in God's
presence.
11b.And take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
According to 11b.He still had the Holy Spirt. It had
not been taken away from him.
12a.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation:
I am sure that we all know why David did not pray for
the return of salvation, why? because he had not lost
his salvation;just the joy of his salvation.
There are many-many more such verses in the Old
Testament,But I think the above verses prove that it
is taught in the Old Testament as we will find in the
New Testament.
Now that we are turning to the New Testament, there is
something that I think would be good for us to
do.with each verse used, read the complete chapter,
however I will bring forth said verses,
In the three following verses,Two being the very
words of Jesus Himself. These verses all use the word
everlasting.
In order to fully understand the full meaning of
these three verses,we must know the meaning of
everlasting.
In order to fully understand the full meaning of
these three verses,we must know the meaning of ever
lasting.
When there is questions about a word I use the
following dictionaries:
Webster's New World Dictionary
Of The American Language
Second College Edition
And
Davis Dictionary
of the Bible.
The above Dictionaries will be used when a Dictionary
is need throuughout these notes;
EVERLASTING
1.Never coming to an end.
2.Lasting forever.
3.Eternal
With these meeanings in mind suppose we look at the
following verses:
John 3/36
36.He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life
:and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see
life;but the wrath of God abideth on him;
John 5/24
24.Verily,verily,I say unto you,He that heareth My
word, and believeth on Him that sent Me,hath
everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation;but is passed from death unto
life.
John 6/47
47.Verily,verily,I say unto you,he that believeth on
me hath everlasting life.
Please take note that there is no:ands.ifs, nor buts
in neither of the three above verses.
There is still another word that we should look at in
John 5/24.We find the words,hath everlasting,life not
something to hope for,but already hath,or have.Jesus
also said:But'is'passed from death unto life. Here
again we find Jesus speaking of the present,or now.
Suppose we now look at three verses all useing the
word never, and all three being the very words of
Jesus Himself.
Just so we can really understand fully the word never
let use the same dictionaries as before.
NEVER:
1.Not ever at anytime
2.not at all by no chance
3.In no case
4.Under no condition
John 6/35
35.And Jesus said unto them,I am the bread of life:He
that cometh to Me shall never hunger;and he that
believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 10/28
28.And I give unto them eternal life;and they shall
never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of
My hand.
John 11/26
26.And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall
never die, believeth thou this.
The three above verses are the very words of Jesus
Himself. So let us see just what He says in these
verses.
In John 6/35 Jesus said:He that believeth on Me shall
never hunger nor thirst.
In John 10/28 Jesus said:I give unto them eternal
life,and they shall never perish.
Then in John 11/26 Jesus says: whosoever liveth and
believeth in Me shall never die.
I think it would be good if we all noticed that Jesus
spoke of the present. These things are true now,not
something to hope for but that we have NOW.
In the above six verses I only used three verses that
used the word everlasting, and three verses that used
the word never. However there are a great number of
such verses, and they are very easy to find, and in
none of them that I know,Not one of them say they are
true if we do this, that or the other.Nor if we don't
do this that or the other.
I have used a good number of Biblical verses and
there is many-mant more that could be used, and they
would all be in context, the same as the ones already
used.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Suppose we
read the following three verses,Ask for the
leadership of the holy spirit,And then see what we
believe.
1 Corinthians 3/13 thru
15
13.Every man's work shall be made manifest:for the
day shall declare it,because it shall be revealed by
fire;and the fire shall try every man's work of what
sort it is.
14.If any man's work abide which he hath built
thereupon,he shall receive a reward.
15.If any man's works shall be burned,he shall suffer
loss, but he him self shall be saved;yet so as by
fire.
We must in this case remember that Paul was writting
to the Church at Corinth which is to say that he was
writting to the redeemed, and the above verses apply
only the redeemed.
I would like to use two more verses:or
promises.
Ephesians 1/13
13.In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the
word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:In whom
also after ye believed ye were sealed with the Holy
Spirit of promiise.
Ephesians 4//30
30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby ye
are sealed unto the day of rredeption.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Is there any room for
questions:
