Yes I feel that pride is perhaps Satan's most powerful force, I say this through personal experience. Oh boy I can remember if someone said something that seemed to reduce me or such, Then my pride would run my blood pressure sky high, and the least I did was feel bad toward that and yes ever say things about them that just was not very christian like.

I still have to fight this thing called pride. Then finally while studying the Bible, and the following verses came into the subject, That day is the day that I decided to throw off this thing called pride and I am still fighting this thing called pride:

2 Chronicles
7/14
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Matthew
18/1 thru 4
1. At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

2. And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them,

3. And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as a this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

12. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased: and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

34. But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

35. And He sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

Yes as we read our Bible and think on the subject of pride we find if we become great in our own mind. We will become smallest in the sight of the heavenly Father and our Lord And Saviour Jesus Christ.
