Harry Crosby's Biography
Harry Crosby was born on August 8, 1958 in Hollywood, California.  His father was Bing Crosby and his mother was Kathryn Grant.  He grew up performing with Bing, Kathryn, and his sister is Mary Crosby.  He appeared on several TV specials with the family.  In 1975 when Harry was 17 he appeared on the TV special Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire: A Couple of Song and Dance Men (1975).  When Harry was 21 he was chosen to star in Friday The 13th (1980) as Bill.  It was his first film and he was a lead role.  At the end of the movie, he was killed by the psychopathic killer, Mrs. Voorhees (Betsy Palmer).  She impaled his body to a door with arrows.  He later commented that during filiming his death scene they applied an effect to him that made his eye burn and as a result of that is not a fan of the series.  Then he went on to star in a TV movie called The Private History Of A Campaign That Failed (1980).  He played Corporal Ed Stevens.  He played in a band called The Swans.  He played bass guitar.  After that, and didn't play in another movie until 1989 in Hollow Venus: The Diary Of A Go-Go Dancer.  He played the Cute Rocker.  Then he stayed away from show business and worked in investment banking.  Up until 1999 he was a managing director at a credit place in New York city.  Then in 2000 he went on to play in A Bing Crosby Christmas (2000) as himself in a tribute to his father.  Harry now works for a company known as Merill Lynch and on September 11, he was in a building right next to the World Trade Center.  Luckily he wasn't harmed however several people died in those attacks, and I am deeply saddened by it and my prayers are with them and their familys.  He appeared on NBC and ABC to discuss the attacks.  Recently he has been performing with singers and such at coffee house's and clubs.  I believe he has a wife named Lisa Crosby and they both live in New York currently.
