Ted typifies what a Welsh Mountain Pony should be: solid, incredible bone, strong hindquarters, laid back shoulder, bold movement, tiny ears, large eye and a beautifully dished pony face. Ted is not just another pretty face, he has a great work ethic and is a wonderful driving pony.
Ted once again competed at the Skunk River Driving Trial- Ames, IA and the Hickory Knoll Driving Trial- Madison, WI where he and his buddy Young's Black Eagle Feather (aka Sunny) placed 1st at both events in the training level pony pair division. This was my first year showing a pair and we had so much fun. I have starting to mess around with drinving tandem and hope to put a checkerboard 4-in-hand together next summer with Ted, Sunny, Buster and Bobby. We are looking forward to 2007! |
