The best parties used to be at Cheyne Walk, inluding my 'engagement' to Sophie at the same time as the Royal wedding of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. How the food was prepared remains a mystery, but fueled my copious supplys of drink and other substances we engaged in the art of fast fun . Dick Bradsel was crafting his skills as ace cocktail maker, Dencil Williams had  a fit at Stephen Linnard who threw the wedding cake across the table, and Greg Davies was practicing 'performance art' ....Biddy and Eve , Ricci Burns, David Shilling, and George Melly were all regular attendees, together with Liz Finch, Mad Nancy, Peter Kent and David Gill. The Embassy club on a sunday evening proved a popular venue, due to the attention we received from our colourful entourage, and interesting acts, including DIVINE.
