| |7-18-02| A few news tidbits: 1. Jonathan and Lisa are no longer engaged...they are married! The happy couple got married on June 21 in a private ceremony. Congratulations to the Jonathan and Lisa! 2. The Official Tuck Everlasting website has been launched. Not much yet, but check back. 3. The first Tuck Everlasting trailer was aired on E! News Daily on Tuesday, July 16. The movie looks AMAZING. |
|11-22-02| Not directly Jonathan related, but fans of his Lucky Spencer who couldn't stand to see the character recast will be happy to know that Jacob Young, new Lucky (aka CARL) will be vacating the role at the end of the year when his contract expires. There are reports that General Hospital will be recasting the character yet again.... But if there is any justice in the world Bob Guza (Co-Headwriter who actually was HW during the Rape Reveal and L&L2 love story), Charles Pratt (Co-Headwriter), Jill Farren Phelps (Executive Producer), and Brian Frons (ABC Daytime President) will pick up the phone and offer the world to Jonathan for a return engagement. Now, whether he would or should take the role, isn't the point. It's the fact that they were willing to offer the sun and the moon to Young, offered just that to Steve Burton, and gave Vanessa Marcil the sun, the moon, and everything in between...and whatever they didn't give her then, they'll give her to re-sign. The least, the absolute LEAST, that GH can and should do is give Jonathan a phone call, a simple "hey, want to come back? Geary's lost without you!" What is so hard about that? Before you go off, GaP JFP & Frons, think about it. JJ for a short time, or another pretty boy who lacks the grace, talent, charmisma, and understanding to play the son of Luke&Laura Spencer? What would you pick? The demos and ratings shot up with Vanessa return, imagine what would happen if JJ returned? Of course, if JJ lands some awesome movie soon, I'll certainly NOT want him to return. But, as it stands, if I just get to see the guy ACT again, I'll be happy! Jonathan on Good Morning America and Live With Regis&Kelly On FRIDAY OCTOBER 11 Jonathan will appear on ABC's Good Morning America with Tuck Everlasting co-star Alexis Bledel, and then by himself on Live With Regis&Kelly.
