Introduction:
I personally suffered from chronic allergies and upper respiratory infections for all of my memorable life. As a child I routinely missed 6 weeks of school per year due to chronic upper respiratory illness. At age 47 a friend I met on the Internet persuaded me to explore Candida as the cause of my allergies. Two years later the chronic allergy issues had been eliminated. My immune system is now stronger than ever. The cure took many trials and requires continued maintenance. I am sharing this to help others in their fight. Diagnosis is quite simple. Take a stimulant laxative in the evening and have no food afterward. Drink only non sugar fluids the next morning until you have had bowl movements that empty the colon. Usually one or two movements at about 12 hours will completely empty the colon. Stay close to the toilet during this time. If your symptom complex significantly improves for the next 12 hours or so then it is probably a fungal related infestation of the digestive tract. Procedure:
1. Diet: No person has cured this condition without drastic diet modification. It is imperative that you eliminate all sugar and severely restrict carbohydrate intake during treatment and for at least six months after. Treatment usually lasts about 60 days.
2. Colon Cleansing: During the 60 day treatment period you will need to perform at least 20 and preferably 30 high volume enemas. Start one day prior to anti fungal therapy to prevent a die off reaction. Use 1.5 litre disposable buckets. Use sterilized water only. The enema will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Heat your water to 104 degrees F and add about two heaping tablespoons of salt. Administer as much of your bucket of sterile salt water as you can tolerate. Let your body empty the colon over the next 30 to 45 minutes. Then when the colon in empty go to the second enema. Heat water to 104 degrees F and add castile soap. Have extra sterile water available. Allow as much soap water to enter the colon as you can tolerate. You need to stretch the colon so trapped colonies of Candida are exposed to soap and salt water. 3. Inoculation: During the treatment and for months after you should use a mixture of sugar free bulk laxative (psyllium husk powder) and acidophilus. Use a shaker jar. Add about 10 ounces of water and contents of one capsule of acidophilus powder. Shake the jar. Then add one to two rounded tablespoons of psyllium sugar free bulk laxative depending on your body size. Shake the jar again and drink immediately. Follow up with about a quart of liquid consumed over the next hour or so. Drink lots of water on this program. This can be taken up to 6 times a day. Do not take close in time to medications as it may bind and lower their effectiveness. I usually drink one in the morning and that is sufficient to inoculate the digestive tract with acidophilus. 4. Anti fungal Therapy: For at least 55 days and up to 90 days you should take an oral prescription strength anti fungal. Diflucan is the best and most cost effective especially if self treating. You do need a doctor's help with this area to make certain you have the liver and kidney strength to make it through treatment. Use 150 to 200mg per day for treatment. Some suggest triple anti fungal therapy. This triple therapy was not sufficient to cure my issues but is a good alternative to just using Diflucan. See: http://drcranton.com/casehx.htm . Diflucan can be taken one time per day. Start the enema and inoculation a day or so prior to Diflucan treatment to prevent that terrible die off reaction. 5.Enzyme Acid Supplements: Acid and enzyme supplements should be used during each meal. Use during the entire course of treatment and there after until satisfied that the Candida is not comming back. Take the pill with the meal, not before, not after. Increasing enzymes and acid in the digestive tract will create an inhospitable environment for candid and fungus. Caution should be taken if you have reflux or stomach ulcers. I like the combination of acid and enzymes. Some people can only tolerate the enzymes. There are many brands to chose from. Conclusion: There are hundreds of candid cures posted on the Internet. Most have some merit with few providing lasting relief. Trust me, I have tried dozens and spent thousands of dollars on purported cures. I found no permanent success until I combined treatments. Simply explained, when I found something that was effective I would add it to the program. The above combination provided lasting relief in my situation. It is a big hassle to perform this for two months but entirely worth the trouble. The health improvement is astounding. Note that I still use the acidophilus and diet modification for long term maintenance.
