TERRY and DEBORAH McCOY BLEVINS
This would be my husband Terry's side of the family. His father name is MARIN JOHNATHAN BLEVINS and his mother is NANCY ALENE SCHERFFIUS BLEVINS, for information on either of these two I would rather you contact me by snail mail or email,(located at the bottom of this page). We are really blessed as they are both still living, as is Terrys 2 brothers and 1 sister, Marin Jr., Bob and Linda.

MARIN JONATHAN BLEVINS' father was WILLIAM WESLEY (Bill) BLEVINS, born 21 November 1893 in Tiptonville, Lake County, Tennessee. BILL BLEVINS married LELLIS MAGDALENE (Lellis) WADE who was born 11 September 1898 in Hardin County, Tennessee. Bill and Lellis were married 5 November 1914 in Caruthersville, Pemiscot County, Missouri. This marriage was blessed with eight children ELLEN BEATRICE BLEVINS, BULEAH LEONA BLEVINS, JOHN WESLEY BLEVINS, RUTH ETHEL BLEVINS, MARION JOHNATHAN BLEVINS, ALINE BLEVINS, WILLIAM WESLEY BLEVINS Jr., and HENRY LLOYD BLEVINS. Lellis died at a very young age from a freak accident with a cow on 9 September 1935.

BILL BLEVINS' father was JOHN WESLEY BLEVINS, born in Washington Co. Indiana. JOHN married M.L. WAYSON on 22 November 1890 in Lake County Tennessee. To this marriage only two children were born. The oldest was a daughter believe to be named Nettie Flo, she died young in a freak accident too. The youngest was William Wesley. John died as a young man also, but he out lived his wife and daughter. I have no given name on Johns wife but her surname was WAYSON, initials were M. L., but I have been told that her name was ELLEN BEATRICE. By the time that WILLIAM WESLEY was 12 years old he was on his own, living with various family members and friends he made while living in New Madrid Co. Missouri.

JOHN WESLEY BLEVINS' father was EDWARD BLEVINS born about 1836 in Kentucky and married a woman by the given name SARAH JANE. I have been able to account for seven children that were born to this marriage (which I have no idea where it took place). MARTHA BLEVINS, born 1856 in Indiana, JAMES BLEVINS, born 1859 in Kentucky, DAVID BLEVINS, born July 1862 in Indiana. MARY F. BLEVINS, born 1868 in Indiana. JOHN WESLEY BLEVINS, born 1870 in Indiana. SHERMAN BLEVINS, born March 1873 in Kentucky. and GRANT BLEVINS, born September 1877 in Indiana.

The only other name that I have in my data is JAMES BLEVINS father to EDWARD BLEVINS. James was a shoemaker living in Knox County, Kentucky on the 1850 census. I can only assume that his wife was dead by then as she does not appear with him.
