The following description of Cornerstone Fellowship is taken from back of the weekly bulletin.

Cornerstone Fellowship

A Bit About Us: One of the comments we hear most often is that there is something unique about Cornerstone Fellowship. People tell us that while other churches claim to be family oriented, we obviously are. We like the distinction and hope that you do, too.

Children: We believe in families, therefore we want you to make the decision about whether you want to take your child to the back or keep them with you. Occasionally a child in the service makes a little extra noise, but we think families do a pretty good job helping their young ones learn to worship. We certainly don’t want parents or children to be anxious about a strange environment. Mothers are welcome to take disruptive children to the ladies’ lounge. Fathers may use hallways when it’s their turn.

Order of Service: Cornerstone Fellowship uses a rather unusual worship format. Our services normally run about an hour and a half. After singing several choruses or hymns at the very beginning, we encourage congregational participation as we review the working of God in our midst and voice our praise to Him. The sermon is the middle segment followed by taking prayer requests and praying for them. Please feel free to participate. At various times we also make a morning service of the Lord’s Supper.

Projection of Sermon: Many churches use overheads to project music or announcements. The pastor also projects the main points of his sermon. Many have commented that it helps them follow along and concentrate. If you are inclined to take notes this is a great aid.

Offering: You will notice as you worship with us that we do not pass an offering plate. The support of the church is the responsibility of the membership of this church. Should you desire to give to God this morning, you may use the box in the back.

Membership: We at Cornerstone try not to pressure anyone into joining our church. We take a laid back approach on this as we do with our offering. While we are serious about our Christianity, we want your decision to worship with us to be something you take time to work through. Should you need any questions answered or wish to talk, we’re here to serve. Our address is listed below.
