I have been trying to find out more about George Frederick Norwood, my grandmother's father. He was born in Eastport Maine on March 7, 1852 and died in Riverside, RI on December 8, 1934. He married Martha Jane Justason of New Brunswick, Canada, in 1874. I have been unable to find the name of his parents, even though I received a birth certificate from Eastport. It was incomplete and did not list their names. I believe (family sources) that he was descended from Moses Norwood, a Revolutionary War pensi ner, who was born in Gloucester, MA and died in Eastport, ME in December 1833. I would be grateful for any information that would help me make a connection between Moses and George Norwood.

Looking for information/confirmation on Henrietta Norwood who married John Sellers. She was born 4 Nov 1784 and died 24 July 1866. Buried Sellers Cem., Clarksburg, Carroll Co., TN. Only have oral information from grandmother that this Henrietta was ind ed a Norwood. Need proof! Anyone have information as to where she was born (SC), married when, where, and parents, siblings?
