Grek is a very tall half-ogre, you judge him to be about 7’ 11". He has dark skin, black eyes, and short, straight black hair. He wears tan hide armor, a faded brown short sleeved tunic, worn tan breeches that are ripped off mid-calf, brown hide boots trimmed in fur, and a cloak made of various tan and brown animal skins. Grek carries a halberd in his left hand. A two handed sword is sheathed across his backside with the hilt showing over his right shoulder. A medium shield is strapped to his pack.
When Grek was born, he was sent by his mother, Tresla, to live with his father Dram in an ogre village. His village was often raided and he was frequently called upon to defend it. His father and the other men of the village taught him to skillfully use a halberd to defend himself and the village. When he was old enough, Grek started to go on raids with the other men of the tribe. One time he ended up completely surrounded by trolls. Grek didn’t like this, he became quite panicked and fled from battle. On many other occasions Grek was again surrounded by troops and fled. He has been unable to overcome his fear of crowds. On one such occasion, Grek ran so far, that he became lost and was unable to find his group again. From then on, he joined many adventuring parties in search of a way to fit in. While he doesn’t like crowds, he also doesn’t like being alone.
Grek will attempt to stay on the outskirts of a battle to avoid being surrounded. If a marketplace or other such place is crowded, he will rarely enter the area. Grek’s speaks in simple short sentences which are marked with grunts.
