My great grandfather and two of his brothers emigrated to the United States from Sweden. We didn't know about the other two brothers until very recently. When my great grandfather, Nils Fredrick Larsson, emigrated to the United States, he changed his name to NILS FREDERICK APPELLOF. His brother, Lars Johan Larsson, changed his name to JOHN LOUIS APPELLOF. And the third and still unknown brother, Erik Gustaf Larsson, changed his name to ERIK GUSTAF LARSSON LINDBERG.
