A Toddler's Law

If I like it, it's mine.
If it's in my hand, it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
If I'm doing or building something, all the peices are mine.
If it looks just like mine, it is mine.
If you are playing with somehting and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
If it's broken, IT'S YOURS!

This is Melissa Sue, she is my fourth grandaughter and a real "cutie patootie". Missa likes her Pooh Bear and loves to play with her brother and sister. She shares her birth month with Shawn and her cousin Rachel, makes it kind of hard on Grandma, three in one month. Missa was born on July 10, 1995. She seems fairly smart for her age and her vocabulary startles me at times! She's a normal 3 year old, feisty and always insisting on HER way or NO way. She likes to sing to herself and sometimes you will find her playing by herself, singing away. She wasn't too sure about Grandpa Frank when she first met him, it took her awhile to warm up to him but they are great friends now. She calls him "HER Grandpa". When ever I visit her at their house, she hates to see me leave and will block the door as if Grandma can't get past her.

She loves to talk to me on the phone and we usually have the same conversation, it goes like this. "Hi Grandma, you got candy? yes Missa, Grandma's got candy for you. "You got apple juice? yes Missa, I have applejuice. "You got chips? Yes Missa, I got chips! "Ok bye Grandma,I come see you". On the fourth of July, we had a family fireworks display. Grandpa taught Missa how to say "Ooooo, Ahhhhh....Wowwww" at each burst of color. After about 20 minutes of "Ooooing and Ahhhing, Missa said to me, "I don't want to do this anymore, I want to do something else". I always wanted a blue eyed, brown hair girl, I had to wait for Stef to have a girl to get one. She was worth the wait!!

For Missa's birthday we got her a "Barbie", actually we got her two of them! Stef tells me she sleeps with them, and when she plays with them she "makes them have conversations". Of couse, she does all the talking!
