Come on in... meet Viv and Ric
Here you can meet my best friends Viv and Ric. I met both of them when I worked at KC's Caboose in Sumner, WA in 1988.
Ric was a cook and Viv a waitress like me. I was a single mom back then, trying to raise Steffie. I was at one of the lowest points in my life when I met these two great people. Ric gave me rides home at night from work ( I didn't have a car) and Viv took me under her wing and became my best friend. I was a different person back then, very timid and shy. Not the person I am today, and that's due mostly to Viv. She taught me to stick up for myself, and in doing that.. she sort of created a monster! ha ha
Ric introduced Viv and I to "Nintendo" not long after we all met! Viv and I became known as the "Nintendo Nana's". We played for hours, days even. The role playing games were our favorite and we would stay up all hours of the night playing at either her house or mine.
Then one day I bought this thing. (my puter) Viv noticed how much fun I was having on it, so she got one. Ric got online too and we turned into mIRC addicts. I'm not mechanically inclined like Viv. I told her that within a month.. she would know more about the computer than I did, and she proved me right! Ric has been a great friend, he even drove to California to help me drive home! When I bought my computer, I didn't know anything about setting it up and wouldn't even take it out of the box until Ric came over to help me. Viv is busy now raising her four grandkids so she can't be on the puter as much as she would like. Ric is busy starting a ceramics business, and me, well I got married and my lifestyle has changed too. I miss the movies we used to go to.. and almost get kicked out of because we giggled so much, or fall asleep in because it was boring. One of us would see the others sleeping and the elbows would start jabbing, then the giggling would start all over. I know that there is almost nothing that we wouldn't do for each other. We all keep in touch, not as much as we'd like I think, but I will always consider them my best friends.

Viv's favorite movie is Jaws. She won't go in the Ocean because of the movie..hehe.. although, I did get her in the ocean once, me and a little help from Bacardi!
