Rockwood's Most Wanted:
The Research Lab

WELCOME!

MOST WANTED LIST:

Rockwood Family
It's silly to have a website called "The Rockwood Place" if you don't have any information about the Rockwoods in it. We are searching for anyone who has information on our Rockwood line, pictures, biographical data, anything we can add to help us know these people better.

Dean Family
Our Grandfather Wendal Hood Rockwood married Ivy Harbottle Dean, but so far I know nearly nothing about her or her family. This is one of our loose ends that needs to be researched. I think I've found a contact so we're making headway!

Robison Family
Still working on this one.

Myrick Family
Where is Grandma Nina? Our Myrick grandparents divorced when my father was a small child and my father was raised by his mother. About a year ago we found his father, Don Myrick and have started new family relations. From him we learned that his mother Nina Martin/Labo is alive somewhere in California and that's all we know. She is the dead end on this line since we don't know who Don's father was or who Nina's parents are. This is a doosey I know but we are determined!

WANTED LIST:

As with any genealogy research there will always be those few which elude us. This is our Research Lab where we can post the most recent research on our lines and offer tips and helpful sources.

RESEARCH LAB

The goal of this site is to gather all known information about each of my family lines. One very great advantage of posting this information is that you get the added help of other researcher's work. I've come into contact with many people researching these same lines.

Much of the information we have is based on oral tradition or has flaws in it. Documenting sources is so vital for determining correct information from fiction, but not many of the stories we have are yet backed up with public records. Bringing it under research scrutiny, hopefully we'll iron all the bugs out.

Once all the family info is gathered and the dead ends are established we can start chipping away at the unknown. Thanks to all the researchers who contribute to this information!
