A Matter Of When?
Will the water cleanse his soul? From the virgin his fruit stole? Can he free himself from sin? The regret and remorse found within?
In the water his evil twin stares The sin's been committed he glares There is no saving your soul now What makes you think you know how?
You took the virgin's only possession It was stolen by your sexual obsession Shall you find the forgiveness you seek? When your lust for passion made you weak?
Down on your hands and knees Beg for forgiveness if you please Your penance might be heard If your lust for desire is deterred
Pray to your Lord and Savior He might forgive your behavior But will you not sin again? Isn't it only a matter of when?
