TRICK OR TREAT
"Come here little girl" The old man said I have some candy Come here instead
With my costume on My bag in my hand I went over to the man To meet his demand
Before I knew it I had traveled through time I was lost in a world That was no longer mine
Where had I gone? The man no longer there I looked around I was totally unaware
When a light appeared Not knowing what to do I walked towards it When suddenly I knew
I was lured by a demon He took me to his lair I saw his thorny friends They had very long hair
They studied me quickly Glaring with beady eyes They were looking closely At my clever disguise
"No! This is not the goblin!" Yelled the green one "Why did you bring her?" "She's not the right one"
Their demon mate chuckled As he proudly exclaimed "I know you silly ghoul" "She's the trick he proclaimed"
"I brought her here to trick you" "To see what you would do" "Now I'll send her back" "Because the joke's on you"
So before I could speak I was back on the street When I heard an old man say "Come here little boy, I have a treat"
