HEARTS
Eight hearts paired
To the right and left
But one lonely heart
Is bereft

It's the ninth
That stands all alone
Surrounded by eight
It cannot clone

Dressed in red
To try and blend
It has no mate
But it thinks it's great

To be free at last
And have a blast
To giggle and debate
With the other eight
