He spoke to me today
I thought it was a dream
But it didn't go away
He kept calling my name

Had my day finally come?
Was it all said and done?
I couldn't believe it
Didn't want to see it

But as I looked up
I heard Him say
"Come my child"
"Here is the way"

His hand unfolded before me
Revealing his temple for all to see
It was like a mirror
Drawing me nearer

As I loomed before it
Admiring its beauty
How privileged I was
To have fulfilled my duty

Drawn to the center
The whiteness so inviting
But I couldn't help notice
The stream of lighting

He sensed my concern
And again said in turn
"My love overflowing"
"Sent to those below me"

As I felt my legs leaping
I woke up, I was sleeping
The tears now excrete
From a dream so complete

My faith now confirmed
My soul reaffirmed
In knowing one day
He will guide the way
