There are several types of aggression in dogs. These behaviors are normal but unacceptable behaviors. Some dogs may possess several types of aggression but one type does not mandate another type. We are two different species and sometimes we misunderstand each other which causes them to show aggression when we frighten them. Aggression should never be punished because it will only make a problem worse. Instead you must learn how to correct the behavior. In order to do this try contacting a trainer in your area. They will be able to help you understand why your dog is behaving the way it is, what's causing it, and how to correct it.
