This is the original model, and has been around for 15 years. As time has passed, minor modifications on the frame, deck, wheels etc. have corrected virtually all problems in the design. The Liquimatic model is exactly the same as the Sport, except for one feature. The Liquimatic comes equipped with a centrifugal automatic transmission system. With the Sport, when the scooter comes to a stop, the engine kills, as the rider pushes forward again the engine easily restarts. With the Liquimatic, the engine remains idle when stopped. Basically, the x-ped is a heavily modified version of the Sport model. The top speed is about 22 mph. Major changes include: - xped frame tube is thicker and sturdier
- xped handlebar pole is shorter and thicker
- All joints reinforced with extra welds
- Engine protected by several steel loops
- Scrape plate mounted to underside of x-ped
- Billet wheels are stock equipment
- Engine timing is advanced to give extra power
- The x-ped is a sky blue color
