           a.       leaves

1.      prepared as paste and applied on pimples, mumps, itches and paintful joints

2.      fresh fruit eaten to stimulate the stomach

 food value

            kamias fruit is rich in vitamin C. the fruit is used as flvoring

 recommended medicinal uses

            for fever, as cooling drink: mash 2 or 3 ripe fruits in a glass of water. Add sugar to taste.
