The What
This site is in its infancy, growing at a rate directly proportional to the amount of free time I have (which is very little). This is not a web directory, and it does not aim to be comprehensive (even ultimately). The areas covered reflect those I use in my work for a publishing company - publishing primarily K-12 textbooks - plus some for personal enjoyment.

The Why
The purpose of this site is to aid me in my work as a research librarian, in order to avoid the tedious routine of 'Oh, I know I saw a site that dealt with this somewhere... now where the heck was it?' which occurs so often. To me, at least.So now you know.
