As My Tears Silently Fall

I am a shadow on the wall,
Angels may whisper,
Tears may fall.
The sky may shatter
While we sleep,
But this won't change a thing.
I hide in the background of the world,
For fear of rejection and criticism.
I am shy and scared, meekly I cry.
No one hears, No one cares,
But the world  keeps turning,
as my tears silently fall.
