Welcome to the Herpin' Gypsy pages.  This is a little place on the web for me to showcase some of my herps along with a nice list of links in which you can use to get help and direction on the proper husbandry of your herps, as well as pictures of herps, and care sheets created either by myself or others with great knowledge on the subject!  Thanks for visiting and please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for me!

I started to become interested in reptiles and amphibians about 10 years ago.  I got my first lizard in the winter of 1992, a bearded dragon named Darius.  I currently have 9 bearded dragons, 10 leopard geckos, 1 Australian water dragon, 3 frogs, 2 ball pythons, and over 30 turtles and tortoises in my care.  This list is always changing as I also take in homeless reptiles and also adopt the homeless ones out to new homes when it is appropriate.

IMPORTANT!!  Help Stop the Ban of Reptiles as Pets!

On September 6, 2001, the Humane Society of the United States released a report recommending the federal government place a ban on the import, export and sale of reptiles.  

Please sign the petition for REPTILE EDUCATION FIRST!!!

We the undersigned, implore the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, in conjunction with professional herpetologists, to look deeper into the issues propagated by the Humane Society of the United States and verify that their information may be erroneous in nature. We feel that instead of instituting a ban on this growing industry, that the government make reptile husbandry education and sanitary practices a priority.
