 "Happy Mystery Child" is a beautiful LP that marks the confident return of Trisomie 21. With a new member, a new sound, and even a new label, T21 once again goes beyond the expectations of their fans. Similar to "Works", "Happy Mystery Child" has a much more accessable sound but the songs are not shallow pop songs. There is an intense passion fueling the music.

"Red Or Green" starts the album off with an emotional vocal sample. ("You're breaking my heart!"). Philippe actually raps... in a way.

"She Died For Love" has a beautiful acoustic guitar melody over electronic dance beats. The symbolism of the "wristwatch" is especially moving.

"No Search For Us" is an extremely up-tempo track with a pounding electronic, industrial rhythm. The theme and title "No Search For Us" implies that a couple is left alone and not one soul is seeking them out. In this privacy, they can be truly together. Dark and beautiful, "No Search For Us" is brilliantly romantic and  creates a soundscape of passion.

"The Sweet Running Over" is a gloriously emotional electronic song that washes over you like waves of opiate-like warmth.

"Come In Paradise" has a strong, thick and serious sound.

"The Touch Of Any Flame"

"No Works Of Words" is an epic cinematic song is the same vein as "A New Outset" or "The Perfect Side Of Doubt".

"Personal Feelings" has heavy rock guitars but maintains the gothic / industrial /dance sound.

"Midnight Of My Life" is very dream-like. Philippe even sings, "I found something special... I wake up in a trance..." The songs starts of with a majestic ease and beauty and soon, the crescendo builds with a delightful electronic wave.

"Forsaken Memories"  is a perfect ending to the LP. "It's over", sings Philippe.
