ABOUT ME
I am a research engineer at ComSee research group, working on optimized machine vision algorithms/methods. I did my MSc in Artificial Intelligence City University, London. You can find some of my programs, papers and articles on this homepage. I am currently looking for an interesting PhD project, if by any chance you know one, please let me know :-)

RESEARCH INTERESTS

After working on machine vision and 3D reconstruction, I have found machine vision / image processing so interesting. I am also interested in machine learning in general and statistical machine learning in specific. And recently I have been working on (batch/real-time) visual SLAM, the first serious application of linear algebra and some methods such as the Kalman filter. These algorithms and their applications are so appealing to me.

FREE TIME

My free-time projects take most of my free time, from small image processing programs to programming my small robot. Running, photography, travelling, playing football, harmonica, and an open source multiplayer FPS game take the rest of my time.
As you may guess, I am a big fan of free software and open source. And this homepage is designed/edited with KompoZer and under GNU/Linux.
I am also the webmaster of www.refugeeinfo.eu
