| Welcome to our island! February 2001 marked our second year on the Marshall Islands. We may be here for up to three more years (Dad’s job is limited to five years). We love Island life and want to stay. We get in the salt water twice a week. We always look forward to Mondays, which are like Saturdays, due to the dateline change. The temperature never falls below the 70s and it never rises above the 80s. Since we are home schooled, we enjoy more freedom, playing in the protected community on the island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where vehicles and guns are not allowed. We ride our bikes, rain or shine, all by ourselves. But on Sundays, we like to walk to church a few blocks away. | ||||
