I Remember When...

Ok, so Lindsey is the one who made up and usually instigates this fun game, but everyone and anyone can play! It's quite simple. Just say "I remember when..." and start talking about some funny thing you and your friends did. It doesn't even have to involve me. It might be a big inside joke and you just wanted to post it for one of your other friends to see. That's about it!

02.02.02 Maria: I accidentally nearly killed Lauren and Amber without knowing it. Oops? How was I to know they were stupid enough to ignore the warning signs!?

02.02.02 Maria: In exchange for Kris paying my cover to get into Screwy Louies, I ate a spoonfull of a disgusting concoction I made from my leftover food, and when I nearly gagged to death on it, Lauren couldn't bring herself to eat her meal!

02.02.02 It's a secret ;): I remember when...you and I were waiting for the Wal-Mart bus to come pick us up one day and a car pulled in the parking lot and this guy rolled down his window and asked if you were single. You were grinning from ear to ear. The next thing I know he's asking for your phone number...and oh my...HE GOT IT!! **SIGH** too bad he was a loser!...only you maria **wink** (Note from Maria: I know who you are and I'm gonna kick your ass!!)

02.03.02 Maria: And speaking of Beaver, I remember when Ross and I went to Beaver Falls for my second prom dress fitting and my car crapped out 8 million times on the way there and back. Hey, noticing the evil Beaver county story theme here? Don't ever go there without time to kill and a full gas tank!!!! And a cell phone!

02.03.02 Who else?: I almost got run over by a bus named Helfrich in the middle of NYC. (Um, that would be Bryan, running to get his picture taken next to it, right?)

02.05.02 Lindsey: my locker was the shit. Everyone came there for entertainment, food, etc. It was great. (Yeah, I used to come by every day for some Swedish Fish or Sour Patck kids, whether you were there or not!)

02.05.02 Rachel: Everyone hung out at my locker in tenth grade right next to Mr. Wilhelm's room cuz it was the perfect location where we weren't being trampled by stupid preppies who coudn't move outta the damn way and blocked the whole damn hallway. Remember that? (It was a pretty damn sweet location, even if it was next to Wilhelm's room...)

02.05.02 Lindsey:
I remember when...I made up this game. Joni & I were at Eat N' Park. And the conversation went like this:
Me: Let's play "I remember when..."
Joni: Okay! ...How do you play?
Me: I JUST MADE THAT UP!

02.05.02 Maria: Well I remember when I didn't even know I was going to this concert until the day of, and I was a big skeptic all the way up until it started because I thought *N Sync was just a cheesy boy band. As soon as the show started I was as horrible as the rest of them!

02.05.02 Lindsey: I tried to kill people in yearbook with a chair. (I'm sure it was just self defense. We tried to kill you daily with our existance....or intentional stupidity.)

02.05.02 Lindsey: I got rugburn. And then like a little crying baby, had to be driven home at 3am. (yeah. On the face. And I was the one who ended up driving your ass home at 3 am! ha ha.)

02.05.02 Amanda D: I remember when...Ray, Maria, and I watched Greg Proops on Comedy Central during lunch in Frau's room!!!! Lunch in there was great! And Blues Clues too!

02.05.02 Amanda D: Maria and I broke into the house I was staying at watching the families two dogs! She ended up pushing me up onto the roof so I could climb in the second story window! All the while our dinner of pizza got cold, and the dogs looked like they were laughing at us through the sliding glass door! (Ah yes, who could forget that night? The day after Prom and your hair was still up in pins and curls, you locked us out of the house, we tried calling like 3 guys and getting them to come over once we got into the house. And Ray was the only one who could!)

02.05.02 Katie F: 10th grade, period. Consisting of: Truth or UCF Truth, 7PM chats, the music game, getting into Carrie 2 for FREE, Katieland, alter egos, Math Nazi (and then the Grinch)...ohh, those were the days...(Truly, that entire school year deserves its own page of IRWs.)

02.05.02 Lauren a.k.a Little Dollface: During Guys & Dolls, Pat and I hugged each other and them made up a stupid poem that we said everyday and it went like this, "We'll hug each other everyday, and that way we'll stay friends, ok?"

02.06.02 Pat: Linz and I pulled over the side of the road to steal a massive construction sign. And we had cookie dough time, and caught kitties, and made everyone else hate us! Good times, good times!

02.06.02 Katie F: Ria's notebook that she took on EVERY school trip that we all contributed to...it seemed to get passed around the bus everywhere we went and comments were made about people, places, ideas, feelings, you name it...(That's right! And I made a sweet-ass photo collage and put it on the inside covers for it after the last trip. *sniffle* That notebook lasted me 7 trips over 5 years.)

02.06.02 Katie F: Me, Pat, Linz, Ria, Ross and Funk all worked at Giant Eagle. 'nuff said. (And Ross and I had sense enough to get out. Ha ha.)

02.06.02 J-Dawg: I remember this one time, on the NYC trip when this one kid said "let's watch bottlerocket" and pretty much everyone and their mom hated that kid that day.

02.06.02 Katie F: 'Fiddler'...mostly "Free Ballin'" (and when the guys walked down the hallway, piano and all, singing it at the top of their lungs...), The Naked Song, the Raptor video, the girls' obsession with 'Calculus (U+Me=Us)', and of course the cast parties... (When the Naked Song was not revived during Guys and Dolls, I was very, very sad. :'-( )

02.06.02 Katie F:11th grade, March of Dimes for NHS...Ria and Moron show up, screaming at each other. Turns out the internet gave them directions to Butler Memorial Park THE CEMETERY instead of Butler Memorial Park THE PARK...hahaha... (OH MY GOD!! I did so NOT tell that idiot NOT to grab the directions to the park! We can't agree on that to this day.)

02.07.02 John: I remember when I really was perfect, and beautiful, and charming, and charismatic, and everything I touched turned to gold, even if I should have been burned at the stake. Then I came to a place where everyone was like that. Curses. Curses. (Ha ha ha ha! How does it feel to WORK for your grades like a normal person for once? I feel for ya, John, I really do! Ria loves you!)

02.06.02 Lindsey: I wanted to send someone to Russia. Or at least send them information about schools there. (Don't you still?)

02.06.02 Lindsey: Ria and I played in the rain. Or the sleet. Whatever it was! (Oh, Lord! It was pouring down rain after rehearsal for the senior class play. It was pitch dark, in the middle of October, and we drove from the school parking lot to BK with foggy windows. Linz had to continuously scrape them with my squeegee so I could see! GOOD TIMES.)

02.06.02 Lindsey: We tried to go to a nice restaurant for prom so Elliott could get a steak and ended up going to McDonalds!

06.02.02 Lindsey: We heard strange sounds at a Girl Scout weekend...They turned out to be TURKEYCHILDREN! (I SWEAR that's what they were.)

02.13.02 Maria: I remember when Lindsey and I jumped into a pool fully clothed at Mini-Camp. (The one right before 11th grade.)

02.13.02 Maria: Back in 10th grade Lindsey would bring in cupcakes like once a month or once every few weeks for people's birthdays!

02.13.02 Maria: When one of the 4 year olds at V.B.S. asked me very innocently "Can I sleep in your pants?" What can I say? The little kids liked my carpenter pants. Oh, and that was the same year England drove Lindsey crazy and Pat and I wanted to steal Hannah at the banquet-thing because she was very, very cute.

02.13.02 Lindsey: Ria & I saw little green bears............. (Yeah, and I remember when you bought me one for Christmas in 9th grade. Punk.)

02.13.02 Lindsey: I thought I was going to kill people at musical rehersals! (And yearbook, and Girl Scout meetings, and at the breakfast table, and...so much rage you had, Lindsey!)

02.13.02 Lindsey: frapping was the thing to do! Right, Rach & Ria? (For those of you who don't know, it has to do with ropes. We learned this at some Leadership training weekend-thing with Girl Scouts. 'twas the same weekend the Turkey Children were born.)

02.23.02 Maria: In 11th grade On the bus from an away game, a certain someone (who shall remain nameless, lest I be killed) had to pee so bad that one of us gave her a BK cup, we put our capes all around her and sang the National Anthem at the top of our lungs so as not to hear her pee. She was so nervous, though, that she just couldn't do it!

02.23.02 Maria: And speaking of peeing, I remember when Rachel threw sand in Pat's eye at Lacey's graduation party and we went into the girls bathroom so he could wash his eyes out, and some chick came in there and used the facilities anyway, producing the most hillarious shocked-face I've seen on Pat to date. This was the same infamous party where the other Patrick broke his foot and I named him Big Gimpin!

03.12.02 Lisa: Lindsey bought everyone at our study hall table in 10th grade their own 'cum in a bottle.' Raspberry Ranger! *squirt* (and I'm so sure everyone in C lunch at that table just looooved sitting
there...haha)

03.21.02 Lindsey: Me, Katie Fost & Pat Sandora went to the airport with my dad to pick up Ashley P! FLYING PITAS! ======D

03.25.02 Maria: My parents, Lindsey, and I went to Minnesota and visited the Mall of America. We ended up buying more little presents for our other friends than we did for ourselves!

03.25.02 Maria: Patrick left his pants in our hotel room on the 11th grade band trip. Heh, heh. I also remember when I got to see him and Erik Agle in their boxers because Erik needed to borrow his pants for jazz band. How I ended up witnessing, I do not recall. ;-)
