Appeal For Donations


Habitat for Humanity of Southwestern North Dakota is in need of donations to complete our second house.   The house is enclosed with electrical work and plumbing completed.   Heating, drywall, and interior trim work still need to be done but we need donations to do this.   We estimate approximately $10,000 to $20,000 more to finish the house.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Our 2nd House!


The groundbreaking ceremony for our second home was held Sunday, May 18th at the new home site.  The new home site is located in the 500 block of 2nd Ave S.E. (two blocks west of Consolidated).

The 1st house built by Habitat for Humanity of Southwestern North Dakota was dedicated on Sunday, December 22, 2002!

It is fitting that the first Habitat house is located in the first residential area of Dickinson - the Cross-Sims District. The Habitat house is not far from the first house built here, known as Mr. Dickinson's house (it's the white one next door to Badlands Brew), and is near the first school in Dickinson, the big red house on 4th Street West, to the east of First Congregational Church.
