I'm really not good at these "about the artist" pages. I'd definitly consider myself an artist and believe that entitles me to be off the wall and quirky, but I feel that contributes to the fact that I'm a really crummy salesperson, too. Hence one of the reasons for this page. But just so that my potentially future mother-in-law isn't too dissapointed in me, I'll make a jab:
I've already come to terms with the fact that I won't make any real money from my artwork - while I'm alive, so if you buy my artwork while I'm alive, it'll be that much more of a deal when i'm dead. Whoohoo for deals!
I do seariously come from a long line of penniless artists, and i'm pretty proud of it. We're into everything from sculpture to lapidary arts. The most famous of my clan, however is Ruth. She's done numerous sculptures for the city of San Francisco and is the most accomplished of the lot of us, so far. The most inspiring, however, is my grandmother who has spent her entire life in complete awe of nature and the gemstones that the earth creates. Her lapidary jewelry is worn daily by the whole family and we're always receiving compliments. One of my goals in life is to be as talented as she is with jewelry.

Until then, im content to be exactly who I've become. Jenny - researcher and student by day, artist by night. All in all, an outstanding person, thanks to my biggest fan, my mother. Who, by the way, has the biggest collection of my work (worth zillions in about 60 or so years). And although I adore that my mother is really my biggest fan, one can only wear so many pieces. So that's why I'm so excited that my website and work have reached you!!

I really look forward to creating beautiful pieces that match your personality and spunk. If you have any questions or would just like to chat a little more, please email me at hhgifts2003@yahoo.com

~Jenny
