The winner of the first ever Sandie for Yahoo! Strat-O-Matic Webring League Site of the Month is the Bloomington Rotisserie and Strat-O-Matic Society, the BRASS League.
The decision was not an easy one. Each and every one of the then 44 members of the Webring were carefully scrutinized by the judging panel. I was very glad to see many of the sites in the webring making updates and changes in the short time from when they first joined the ring until the Sandie was awarded. This criteria figured into the decision...the professional way in which the league is set up and governed along with the professional way that the webpage itself is set up and maintained. The league boasts an impressive number of proactive members, most of whom have their own team pages and all of whom have excellent team logos. The league constitution is in-depth, concise and very well thought out. One of these guys must be a lawyer! Their salary structure for the team rosters is one of the most realistic and logical ones that I've ever seen. Be sure and pay a visit in your trip through the Webring, to this excellent and well deserving inaugural League Site of the Month.
