This site has been built with three purposes in mind.
1. To post photographs of all the amazing things I am fortunate enough to see.
2. To post my professional writings and excerpts from my travel journal for all interested to peruse.
3. And perhaps most importantly, to keep people apprised of where I am and what I am doing. Thus if I vanish while diving or trekking somewhere, those of you who read this page will be able to tell local authorities "Matt Kaplan is missing."What??? You don't care about helping authorities find my body? You just want to get a hold of me right away? Email me at paleomatt "at sign" yahoo "dot" com
